  1. New User Registration Procedure
  2. -------------------------------
  3. This system uses an automatic Validation system to maintain security and speed
  4. up your validation.  If you should find it difficult to use, or if you prefer 
  5. not to, you may just answer the questionaire and we will verify you as soon as 
  6. possible.

  8. Automatic Validation Procedure
  9. ------------------------------
  10. The BBS will ask you a couple of questions about the phone number you entered
  11. when you logged on.  Once it knows your number it can call you back.  The 
  12. System will then disconnect you and after a 10 second delay, the BBS will call
  13. you at the number you indicated your modem is attached to.  You may see the 
  14. word RING appear on the screen or a light on the modem indicating an incoming 
  15. call.  When you know the phone is ringing enter 'ATA' followed by a <CR> or 
  16. let the modem answer if it is able to by itself.

  23. Wait a few seconds for the modems to establish a successful connection.  At
  24. that time you may see a 'CONNECT...' and possible garbage characters (this
  25. is ok)

  27. You will have three chances to enter your logon password.  If successful
  28. the system will validate you immediately and you may have full access to 
  29. the public menus from then on.  After you are validated, you will have
  30. 45 minutes on the system, less the time it took you to validate yourself.

  32. Only one user per phone number is allowed.  That is, someone else can NOT
  33. use the number you supplied to gain access to this system.  Should more than
  34. one family member desire access to this system, leave a message to the Sysops 
  35. and we will take care of the validation for you.

  41. number and a time to call and I will TRY to get back to you as quickly as 
  42. possible and validate you that way.
